Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) partners with a respected nonprofit in New Britain, CT, to add an HR/Payroll Specialist to its growing team. You will process payroll, manage onboarding/offboarding, and maintain HRIS data while supporting HR operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADP is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Maintain employee records, administer benefits-related updates, and manage HRIS data.
• Partner with department managers on employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
• Support day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience processing payroll and managing onboarding/offboarding functions is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
