Job summary

QQR Transport in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks an experienced HR & Payroll Generalist to own HR and payroll for office staff and driver workforce. Youll handle recruiting support, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and HR filings, coordinating payroll with Paychex PEO for both office staff and drivers.

Driver pay involves mileage, load/settlement, detention, layover, and per diem. Youll manage ATS, partner with Finance, Accounting, Executives, and department managers to hire, retain,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HR generalist, payroll, or combined HR/payroll; trucking or logistics preferred.
• Experience with Paychex PEO or similar payroll systems and HRIS platforms; strong Excel skills.
• Experience administering an ATS and knowledge of driver-pay structures.

Responsibilities

• Own HR and payroll for office staff and drivers, ensuring timely payroll processing.
• Manage ATS for job postings, candidate pipeline, interviews, onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain HR policies, compliance, and HRIS data; support employee relations and investigations.
• Administer benefits enrollment, leave management, and policy guidance.
• Coordinate with Finance and Executives to meet hiring goals and retention targets.
