Job summary

LHH in Duluth, GA is seeking an organized HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our team onsite. You will support payroll operations, onboarding, recruiting, and daily HR administration, contributing to a positive employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–2 years of HR/payroll experience, with Dayforce experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and solid communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-2 years experience supporting HR and payroll functions.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; Dayforce preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, onboarding, employee records, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing, including audits, wage calculations, overtime, bonuses, and employee pay adjustments.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Assist employees with payroll and HR-related questions.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire paperwork.
• Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals, and networks.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
• Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR documentation.
• Support HR projects, compliance efforts, audits, and process improvements.
