Job summary

Fundamental is seeking an HR/Payroll Coordinator in Henderson, NV to support payroll processing and HR functions under supervision. You will handle documentation, background checks, and recruitment coordination while helping orient new staff and maintaining personnel records.

The role requires English proficiency, 2+ years in HR/payroll, and Kronos experience. A reliable transportation and local market knowledge will help support compensation trends and staff retention efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR/Payroll Coordinator experience, preferably in long-term care
• 1+ years of recruitment and retention experience preferred
• KRONOS payroll experience required
• Must read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Prepare all required documentation to process payroll accurately and timely
• Perform and verify pre-employment background checks and license/certification verifications
• Coordinate recruiting/staffing to ensure adequate staffing and retention using local resources
• Support orientation by explaining policies, payroll and related regulations to new staff
• Maintain timely personnel and electronic files
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team on recruiting/compensation trends; conduct wage surveys to ensure market competitiveness
