Job summary

AmeriLife is seeking an HR Specialist to join the HR Operations team, reporting to the HR Operations Manager with a dotted-line partnership with the HR Business Partner team. This role supports HR programs, employee lifecycle activities, and day-to-day employee and manager needs while partnering closely with HR Business Partners and other internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• At least two years of HR generalist experience preferred.
• Proficient with HRIS, payroll, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, changes, data management, and offboarding.
• Process HR transactions in Workday and related systems accurately and timely.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies, programs, and systems.
• Assist with M&A HR due diligence and integration activities.
• Collaborate with HR Partners on organizational changes and workforce initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and maintain documentation.
• Support compliance, audit readiness, and HR-related reporting.
