JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Trainer is responsible for ongoing training for all colleagues within Warehouse and Meat Production operations, including all shifts and temperature zones. The trainer will also re-train associates who do not meet performance standards, reinforcing essential skills to foster a safe, competent, and productive workforce through classroom or one-on-one training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees onboarding, orientation, UMS, and production floor training.
• Supervises daily policy and practice administration at the assigned location.
• Recommends program modifications to meet HR requirements.
• Assists in People Pillar activities and ensures compliance.
• Prepares reports and suggests procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
• May represent the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Helps ensure HR Department is prepared for audits.
• Willing to work on the production floor with your training line 80% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Graduate

Experience: 2 years as a Manufacturing Operations trainer or supervisor

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, effective written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills.

• Training includes warehouse and Meat Production, safety, business systems, etc.
• Identify process improvements, reduce errors, and develop training accordingly.
• Develop candidate skills, knowledge, and attitudes aligned with program goals.

• Make employment decisions based on learning and performance.
