JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Trainer is responsible for ongoing training for all colleagues within Warehouse and Meat Production operations, including all shifts and temperature zones. The Trainer will also re-train associates who do not meet performance standards. The role involves reinforcing essential skills to foster a safe, competent, and productive workforce through classroom instruction or one-on-one training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee training programs such as Onboarding, Orientation, UMS, and Production Floor Training.
2. Supervise the day-to-day administration of policies and practices at the assigned location.
3. Recommend program changes or enhancements to meet operational needs.
4. Assist in People Pillar activities and ensure compliance.
5. Prepare reports and suggest procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
6. Represent the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations when necessary.
7. Ensure HR Department is prepared for HR audits.
8. Work on the production floor with your training line approximately 80% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education: High School Graduate.
2. Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Operations trainer or supervisor.
3. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.

Decision-Making Authority

Most important decisions made independently include:

• Training in warehouse and Meat Production areas, including receiving, put away, shipping, and packing, as well as safety and business systems.
• Identifying process improvements, reducing errors, and developing training to support these objectives.
• Developing candidate skills, knowledge, and attitudes aligned with program goals, utilizing appropriate materials and equipment.

• Developing new training methods for all associates.
• Making employment decisions based on learning, development, or performance assessments.
