Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking an HR Administrator to join our Portage, MI team. The HR Admin supports HR Operations, handles unemployment claims, and pandemic case management, assisting the HR Manager and HR Generalist as needed.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality. Travel to various locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Experience in a human resources role preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of unemployment claims.
• Support intake of employee relations concerns and route to HR Manager or HR Generalist.
• Maintain organization of electronic and hard copy team member files.
• Coordinate company events and assist in recording meeting notes and scheduling.
• Research compliance with state and federal regulations and update policies as needed.
• Ensure labor law posters are up to date.
