Job summary

The College of New Jersey is seeking an HR Operations Analyst to lead Oracle HCM and our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data integrity across the candidate lifecycle. This role partners with IT, Finance, and Payroll to drive system updates, testing, and reporting for compliance metrics and strategic improvements.

Responsibilities include data audits, managing organizational structures in HRIS, and delivering high-quality HR analytics to support recruitment, employment, and payroll

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of professional experience in administration and business practices.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 2 years, OR PhD/EdD with 1 year.
• Three to five years with integrated HRIS systems and payroll experience.
• Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros; basic to intermediate querying.
• Solid knowledge of recruitment, employment lifecycle, compensation, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Oracle HCM and Applicant Tracking System data integrity and security.
• Lead quarterly system updates and create testing scripts with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and deliver HRIS reports for IPEDS and internal/external stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing for system/process enhancements and ensure operational continuity.
