Job summary

ITS, LLC in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support the employee lifecycle. The role collaborates with the HR Generalist and Director of Human Resources to ensure efficient HR operations and growth.

The HR Specialist will handle offer letters, onboarding, records management, HRIS data entry, benefits, and audits, ensuring compliance and smooth processes across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, documentation management, or compliance tracking is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and coordination of offer letters through ADP Workforce Now.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding activities, orientation scheduling, documentation, and first-day support.
• Monitor onboarding requirements and follow up with new hires regarding outstanding items.
• Support background screening, I-9 documentation, policy acknowledgments, and other onboarding compliance activities.
• Maintain personnel and benefits files and support employee record updates.
• Support HR data entry and employee changes within ADP Workforce Now and benefits systems.
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment and benefits portal navigation.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR procedures and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain HR trackers, onboarding dashboards, training records, and operational reports.
• Coordinate employee recognition and engagement activities.
• Assist with training assignments, tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Support employee offboarding, COBRA administration, and benefits termination coordination.
• Assist with HR audits and recordkeeping requirements.
• Support SOPs, forms, processes, and employee resources.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
