Job summary

ITS, LLC, based in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join the HR team. The role provides operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, from offer letter administration through termination and offboarding.

The position collaborates with the HR Generalist and Director of HR to ensure efficient HR operations and company growth. A 1–3 year background in HR support is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years in HR support, administration, or employee services is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with HRIS and onboarding systems, and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with offer letters and onboarding activities using ADP Workforce Now.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation scheduling, documentation, and first-day support.
• Monitor onboarding requirements and follow up with new hires.
• Support background screening, I-9, policy acknowledgments, and compliance activities.
• Maintain personnel and benefits files; support employee record updates.
• Assist HR data entry and employee changes in ADP, Unanet, SharePoint, and benefits systems.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, lifestyle events, and benefits portal navigation.
• Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain HR trackers, dashboards, training records, and reports.
• Coordinate employee recognition, SPOT awards, and anniversaries.
• Assist with training assignments, tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Support offboarding, COBRA administration, and benefits termination coordination.
• Assist with HR audits, compliance documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Support SOPs, forms, and employee resources maintenance.
