Job summary

Canopy A&D is seeking a highly organized Manager, Human Resources to join our Irvine, CA team. This role anchors daily HR operations, partnering with site leadership to manage benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will oversee onboarding through offboarding, ensure California employment law adherence, administer 401(k) plans, leaves, and verifications, and coordinate with facilities for a productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, benefits, and offboarding.
• Maintain compliance with California employment laws and labor standards.
• Administer comprehensive benefits programs and 401(k) plans.
• Process leaves of absence (FMLA/CFRA/PDL) and employment verifications.
• Lead cross-functional HR initiatives and vendor management.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth aerospace/defense settings.
• Proficient with HRIS (UKG Ready) and expense platforms (Concur/Expensify).
• Communicate professionally with executives, employees, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Partner with leadership on employee relations and performance guidance.
• Drive HR initiatives from scope to implementation with milestones.
• Administer total rewards, leaves, and employment verifications.
• Manage office operations and liaison with facilities vendors.
• Maintain centralized tracking for supplies and procurement lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws; support safety programs.
• Maintain accurate HR records in HRIS and SOP documentation.
• Support Executive Leadership with event planning and logistics.
• Contribute to strategic projects to support company growth.
