Job summary

The successful candidate will oversee compensation activities, workforce planning, process improvements, and strategic HR projects, using AI-enabled tools to drive efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of HR experience with leave administration and accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, HIPAA, FLSA, DOL, and state laws.
• Experience supporting a multi-state workforce, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and HR technology to improve efficiency.
• Proficiency with HRIS, MS Office, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead leave of absence programs including FMLA and state leaves.
• Guide employees and managers through eligibility, documentation, benefits, and return‑to‑work.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws across jurisdictions.
• Oversee leave documentation, case tracking, reporting, and confidentiality.
• Coordinate leave-related payroll adjustments with Payroll and Benefits teams.
• Administer the ADA interactive process and reasonable accommodations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and liaison with providers and carriers.
• Support HR operations, workforce planning, policy development, and strategic initiatives.
