Job summary

Akerman LLP is seeking an HR Manager for Leave Administration & HR Operations in Orlando, FL. You will lead leave of absence programs, accommodations, and workers' compensation while supporting compensation, HR operations, and strategic HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong leave administration background.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, HIPAA, FLSA, DOL and state leave laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead leave administration, accommodations and compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support compensation initiatives, HR operations, workforce planning, and process improvements.
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition and other leaders to deliver high-quality HR services.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics to drive efficiency and decision-making.
