Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an HR Manager to oversee daily HR operations, ensure compliant delivery of HR processes, and lead the HR Operations team to deliver an exceptional colleague experience.

The role partners with HR Business Partners and leaders, manages onboarding through offboarding, payroll coordination, reporting, and analytics, and stays current with federal and state employment laws including CA-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, compliance, reporting, and workforce administration.
• Experience partnering with HR Business Partners, business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence.
• Understanding HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, orientation, recruitment, leave of absence, Workers’ Compensation, HRIS, payroll, benefits).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Co-Pilot is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable with public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily HR Operations, ensuring timely, accurate service delivery.
• Act as primary contact with COEs on program delivery issues and customizations.
• Manage onboarding, changes, leaves, workers’ comp, payroll coordination, separations.
• Build cross-functional relationships with employees, HRBP’s, and leaders.
• Oversee the HR mailbox to ensure timely inquiries and accurate responses.
• Maintain compliant personnel-file practices and protect employee information.
• Produce timely audits, reports, and data for HRBP’s and leaders.
• Provide data and metrics to drive growth, engagement, and retention.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in HR.
