Job summary

Delta Star Inc. in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Human Resources Intern who will support HR initiatives, data quality, and process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in HR operations, analytics, and project management.

You will own assigned projects from discovery through recommendations and implementation, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to improving employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Sophomore to senior standing preferred.
• Previous HR or data analysis experience is a plus.
• Experience with Excel, reporting or dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR projects under guidance; develop plans, track milestones, and deliver results within timelines.
• Evaluate HR processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and employee experience.
• Collect and analyze HR data; develop reports, dashboards, or presentations.
• Support HRIS, data quality, compliance, audit, and documentation initiatives.
• Complete at least one internship project from discovery through implementation with stakeholders.
