Job summary

Packer Fastener is seeking an HR Coordinator to own daily HR operations, including onboarding, data accuracy in the HCM, and employee verifications. You will be the first point of contact for routine questions and escalate complex issues to the HR team.

This role supports wellness programs, training logistics, audits, and cross-location HR activities, ideal for someone early in their HR career seeking hands-on experience across the full function.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR or related field.
• 1-2 years of administrative experience.
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer, and verbal & written communication skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling confidential and sensitive employee data.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements as they relate to wellness/health program data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day onboarding/offboarding logistics and pre-hire paperwork.
• Coordinate new hire logistics and workspace setup for orientation.
• Serve as backup facilitator for onboarding sessions.
• Manage offboarding paperwork and system deactivation, with HR Generalist.
• Support wellness program inquiries and training logistics across locations.
• Perform HR data entry edits and verifications of employment (VOE).
• Assist with audits, reporting, and general HR projects.
