Job summary

S&K Gaming is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruitment, onboarding, and payroll coordination. The role involves greeting applicants, managing HR documents, and coordinating interviews using Paycom Talent Acquisition.

Seasonal and full-time staff onboarding are part of the responsibilities, with emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy. Responsibilities include maintaining HR calendars, preparing training materials, and assisting with benefits and payroll-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years HR/Business Administration experience and/or an AAS degree.
• Benefit/Payroll knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet the public in person, on the telephone and through e-mail providing quality customer service with accurate information in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
• Promote a positive team approach to accomplish position duties and encourage a team approach with all S & K Gaming employees.
• Prepare employee file folders with a position description, training checklist, payroll calendar and related HR documents.
• Utilize Paycom’s Talent Acquisition to track vacancies, screen online applications and assist in interview coordination.
• Schedule interviews, notify applicants of decisions and coordinate onboarding and training sessions.
• Maintain HR calendar, organize interview events, and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
• Schedule pre-hire drug screens and onboarding for new hires, including seasonal staff.
• Oversee uniforms, equipment, and records; ensure proper documentation and exit procedures.
