Job summary

Canopy A&D in Irvine, CA is seeking a highly organized Manager, Human Resources to join our headquarters. You will serve as a partner for site operations, overseeing the employee lifecycle, benefits, compliance, and HR policies while supporting enterprise-wide initiatives.

The role demands hands-on leadership in a fast-growing aerospace environment, strong communication, and the ability to manage vendors, HRIS (UKG Ready), and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR and workplace operations experience.
• Strong command of California employment standards and compliance.
• Experience administering benefits programs and leaves (e.g., FMLA, CFRA).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and external providers.
• Familiarity with UKG Ready and expense management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and inquiries on benefits, leave, and policies.
• Partner with leadership to address employee relations and performance management.
• Lead HR initiatives from scoping to implementation with clear milestones.
• Manage total rewards administration, 401(k), leaves, and verifications.
• Oversee office operations, vendor relations, and facilities coordination.
• Maintain HR records in HRIS and contribute to SOP documentation.
• Provide executive coordination, including events, logistics, and reporting.
• Support growth through additional strategic projects as needed.
