Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead daily HR operations within a metals manufacturing environment in Henderson, NV. You will oversee benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, and policy administration to align with organizational goals.

You will provide hands-on support and strategic leadership, working closely with plant management and senior leadership to design and implement new HR initiatives and improve existing programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR operations and strategy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Supervisory experience of HR staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations and policy application.
• Lead and develop HR staff (Generalist, Admin Assistant).
• Plan and execute recruiting, review resumes, and maintain pipelines.
• Conduct interviews, extend offers, and onboard new hires.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities.
• Develop relationships with staffing agencies and partners.
• Coordinate job fairs and events to attract candidates.
• Collaborate with production management on staffing plans.
• Review internal applicants and advise on qualifications.
• Support performance reviews and resolution of issues.
• Manage payroll-related documentation and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliant employee records and Paychex updates.
• Oversee drug testing, workers' comp, and unemployment claims.
• Distribute HR communications and notices.
• Develop employee recognition programs.
• Manage HR-related social media and employer branding content.
