Job summary

East Troy Manor, a 50-bed long-term care facility in East Troy, Wisconsin, seeks a Human Resource Manager to oversee payroll, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and policy development, partnering with leadership to support our mission and culture.

The HR Manager will promote engagement, ensure policy adherence and legal compliance, implement effective people strategies, and act as a trusted resource for both employees and management

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources management or related field.
• Experience in processing payroll and payroll reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, background checks, and extending offers.
• Payroll and compensation reporting.
• Coordinate and perform the new hire onboarding process.
• Schedule, manage and oversee new hire orientation.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
• Training and development including tracking and monitoring the LMS to enhance employee skills.
