Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager based in Edison, NJ, overseeing full HR operations for two small district offices. You will handle employee relations, recruiting, investigations, licensing, compliance, and performance management, shaping a positive culture in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage a team of recruiters, support two offices, and partner with local leadership to drive improvements while upholding integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of full cycle HR experience, preferably supporting hourly employees in small offices.
• Strong employee relations expertise including coaching managers and conflict resolution.
• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to conduct workplace investigations with clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex employee relations matters in a small office environment, including performance issues and disputes.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, including events and compliant processes.
• Travel weekly to the Marlton, NJ Securitas office as needed.
• Perform impartial, legally compliant workplace investigations with actionable findings.
• Address employee concerns through coaching to reduce risk and improve engagement.
• Mediate conflicts and ensure fair resolutions per policy and law.
• Manage and develop a team of 3-4 recruiters for high-volume talent acquisition.
• Oversee FMLA, ADA, and LOA processes with proper documentation.
• Oversee licensing, credentialing, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain HR policies supporting business objectives and risk management.
• Serve as advisor to local leadership on employee relations and HR best practices.
