Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Director to support all aspects of HR management. You will help oversee employee relations, employment, training, and benefits, and implement new procedures to improve HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Three (3) years of HR experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of HR concepts, policies and procedures, with clear understanding of legal compliance requirements, and employment laws.
• Strong skills in MS Office applications and computer skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Human Resources Director in all aspects of HR management.
• Manage and input direction regarding employee relations, employment, training, and benefit activities.
• Ensure all departments are supported through development and implementation of new procedures for HR operations.
• Administer and communicate Company policies, procedures, and programs.
• Review and advise management on performance and conduct issues, including labor matters.
• Promote effective communication between employees and management while maintaining confidentiality.
• Coordinate activities to meet the training needs of the property.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
