We’re looking for a hands-on, operationally strong HR Manager to help elevate how we hire, support, and retain exceptional talent.

As our HR Manager, People Operations, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the employee journey and scaling our HR operations with consistency and care. This role requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution, with a focus on streamlining processes, driving compliance, and building cross-functional alignment.

Note: This role requires flexibility to support collaboration across U.S. time zones.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and continuously improve core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS updates, and full employee lifecycle support
  • Develop and implement documented workflows for new hires and contractors, ensuring alignment across HR, Finance, Legal, and IT
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and internal documentation in line with evolving regulations and best practices
  • Manage third-party HR platforms (e.g., Sequoia, Deel, Gusto) and implement tools to track approvals, system access, and compliance milestones
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and performance matters
  • Partner closely with leaders across the business to deliver operational excellence throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Lead timely and compliant workplace investigations, managing sensitive issues with professionalism and care
  • Facilitate performance review cycles and support goal setting, development planning, and feedback processes
  • Analyze people data (e.g., headcount trends, engagement, turnover) and deliver actionable insights to leadership
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives such as pulse surveys, recognition programs, and retention strategies
  • Collaborate with leadership on org design, change management, and other initiatives that shape the employee experience

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–7 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a people operations or HR manager capacity
  • Proven success operating in high-growth, fast-paced environments with evolving or unstructured systems
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance requirements
  • Operational experience with HRIS tools such as Sequoia, Deel, Gusto, or BambooHR
  • Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with sound judgment and discretion
  • SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or PHR / SPHR certification preferred
  • A passion for building people-first, scalable, and compliant HR systems that support long-term growth
