Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, policies, processes, and initiatives.
• Supervise HR team members, including the HR Coordinator, with coaching and development.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations and provide guidance.
• Investigate employee complaints and recommend resolutions.
• Partner with leadership on employee relations issues and policy adherence.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, postings, screening, interviews, and follow-up.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs and training initiatives.
• Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and training materials.
• Maintain HRIS accuracy for personnel records and changes.
• Process Personnel Action Forms for hires, transfers, changes, promotions, and terminations.
• Collaborate with Director of HR on job descriptions and role evolution.
• Assist with development and administration of HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Stay current on HR best practices and employment legislation.
