Job summary
The Board of Control for the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) is seeking an HR Manager who makes HR feel human—organized, responsive, and fair. You will lead core HR programs including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, leave, and compliance while partnering with the HR Director on strategy.
This hybrid role requires in-office Mondays and Tuesdays in Midtown Atlanta, with remote days Wednesday through Friday.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
- Five years progressive HR operations experience, plus one year supervising or leading others.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for staff positions and partner with managers.
- Improve applicant tracking and candidate experience.
- Lead onboarding and coordinate offboarding processes.
- Administer benefits including open enrollment and vendor coordination.
- Coach managers on employee relations and assist with investigations.
- Oversee performance reviews and surface HR trends for leadership.
- Administer leave programs (FMLA, state leave, ADA).
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain HR records.
