Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring a permanent Human Resources Manager to support a growing team at a prominent DC higher education institution. The role offers a 3-day hybrid schedule, a salary range of $85,000–$105,000, and dedicated onsite support for managers and staff.

You will lead HRIS compliance, benefits administration, employee relations inquiries, compensation and career pathing, and recruitment coordination, with union experience and strong ER skills highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of HR experience.
• Union experience and employee relations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment support: manage descriptions and postings with affirmative action and anti-discrimination standards.
• Compensation & Classification: review classifications, exemptions, and career pathing.
• Employee Relations & ADA: handle basic relations and investigations; advise on accommodations.
• Talent & Organizational Development: assist with performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Benefits Administration: answer questions and support enrollment and leave reporting.
• HRIS & Records Compliance: ensure I-9 reviews, file maintenance, and termination coordination.
