Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee daily HR operations and lead a small HR team across corporate and regional locations. You will navigate employee relations and support a diverse workforce including field-based employees.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operational leadership, HRIS optimization, and compliance. On-site presence with potential hybrid days is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience including HR management or senior generalist duties.
• Experience supervising or mentoring HR staff.
• Experience in employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily HR operations across corporate and regional locations (90+ core employees; scaling up to 500+ seasonal/contract workers).
• Manage, mentor, and direct two remote HR team members specializing in onboarding/offboarding, compliance (I-9s), contractor coordination, and recruitment.
• Overhaul and optimize recruitment and onboarding workflows to improve retention, reduce time-to-hire, and support rapid multi-site scaling.
• Evaluate and modernize the current HR and payroll tech stack (Kelly Benefits/BambooHR), with an eye toward driving future automation and enterprise system upgrades (e.g., potential Workday migration).
• Strengthen employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefit administration programs across non-union corporate and distribution environments.

Randstad is partnering with an established, growing organization in the Elkridge, MD area seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations, lead a small HR team, and support employees across multiple locations.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational leadership, navigating employee relations, and supporting a diverse workforce that includes both corporate and field-based employees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, including HR management or senior generalist responsibilities.
• Experience supervising or mentoring HR staff.
• Expereince in employee relations, HR compliance, benefits administration, and performance experience
• Experience supporting hourly, operational, field-based, or multi-location employee populations
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms; BambooHR experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with contingent labor, independent contractors, and PEO relationships is highly valued
• Communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable operating independently while partnering with leadership across multiple functions
• On-Site Presence: ability to work full-time, with flexibility for future hybrid days

salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
