Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager for the Ogden, UT site. You will transform HR processes, partner with COE and HR Operations, and report to the Director, HR—Fuel Manufacturing.

The role focuses on standardization, engagement, and employee experience improvements. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years HR experience with EEO knowledge, and preferred SHRM-CP or PHR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR degree preferred.
• 5+ years minimum HR experience; 10-15 years typical.
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws at federal, state and local levels (EEO).
• SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with onsite team to understand operations and align HR support with business.
• Oversee development of skills through staffing, talent development, org design, performance management, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Site Leader and teams to stay updated on HR needs and drive HR projects with COE and HR Ops.
• Ensure management practices promote an engaging culture with change management and a positive work environment.
• Create plans to enhance employee engagement while optimizing organizational effectiveness.
• Analyze data to support data-driven decision making.
• Advance diversity and inclusion initiatives and safety culture initiatives.
• Lead changes to policies, programs, and procedures to improve consistency.
• Ensure HR compliance with all applicable regulations.
