Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our Ogden, Utah site. This onsite role will lead HR processes, engage with COE partners, and drive workforce strategy aligned with business priorities.

You will report to the Director, HR and contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance. The position emphasizes engagement, data-driven decision making, and change management to create an optimal employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years minimum in HR leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws at federal, state, and local levels (EEO).
  • Experience mitigating employee and labor relations risk.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR preferred.

About the role:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will transform and provide support to the Ogden location and deliver our priorities of standardization and optimization of HR processes, maximize engagement and employee experience. You will work with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE), HR partners, and Global HR Operations team to promote HR outcomes. You will report to the Director, HR - Fuel Manufacturing and be located at our Ogden, UT site. This is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with the onsite team to develop an understanding of business operations and strategy to anticipate and recommend HR support aligned with the business.

Identify and and oversee the development of skills to support these requirements through staffing, talent development, organization design, performance management, and succession planning.

Engage with the Site Leader and teams to stay updated on changing our needs and anticipate HR issues and opportunities. Work with HR partners, Centers of Excellence, and other HR Operations leaders to implement projects to support site needs.

Collaborate with the business to ensure that management practices promote an engaging culture with a focus on change management and a work environment.

Create plans aimed at enhancing employee engagement while optimizing organizational effectiveness

Analyze and use data reporting tools to gather and study information for data-driven decision-making.

Improve efforts to establish and maintain a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Be very engaged in Safety projects to support the Safety Culture.

Lead changes to policies, programs, and procedures to improve and consistency.

Ensure HR compliance with all applicable governmental regulations.

Qualifications:

5+ years minimum, 10-15 typical

Knowledge of employment and labor laws at the federal, state and local level (EEO)

Experience with mitigating employee and labor relations risk

SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR preferred

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
