Job summary

BeLeaf Medical LLC is seeking a Human Resources Manager at its St. Charles, MO corporate office to own employee relations, investigations, separations, unemployment defenses, and leave and accommodation across all brands and locations.

You'll work directly with the Director of Human Resources to set the standard for fair, consistent treatment in a fast-growing, multi-site cannabis company with ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive HR experience with hands-on ownership of employee relations matters.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and producing findings.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and Missouri employment law.
• Comfortable in a multi-site corporate environment across retail/production locations.
• SHRM certification preferred; cannabis/regulatory industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage, and investigate employee relations matters across locations and brands.
• Coach supervisors through people problems to build capability rather than solve it for them.
• Develop separation strategy and documentation; represent the company at unemployment hearings.
• Administer FMLA, short-term disability and other leaves; manage ADA process and deadlines.
• Serve on cross-functional interview panels and help train managers.
