Job summary

BeLeaf Medical is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor — Chemical Processing in St. Louis, MO to lead a small team through hydrocarbon and ethanol extraction, distillation, and post‑processing. The role is hands‑on with direct scheduling, batch records, and safety ownership, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.

You will mentor technicians, ensure SOPs and cGMP compliance, and drive on‑floor improvements in a fast‑growing Missouri cannabis operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years hands‑on cannabis or chemical processing experience; prior supervisory/lead technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of 2–4 Manufacturing Technicians in chemical processing workflows.
• Assign daily tasks and production priorities to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance during extraction, post‑processing, and distillation operations.
• Lead onboarding, training, and qualification of new technicians on equipment, safety protocols, and SOPs.
• Foster safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement on the floor.
