Job summary

TDW invites a dedicated HR professional to join our Salt Lake City site, partnering with managers and departments to support engagement, development, retention, recruitment, compliance and compensation. The role focuses on day-to-day guidance on development, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, while delivering HR programs and ensuring we stay compliant with applicable laws.

A bachelor's degree and at least five years in HR, with manufacturing or services experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related area of study, human resources preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of HR field experience including employee or labor relations.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day support to managers on development, recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Executes TDW HR programs such as merit, talent review, onboarding and employee engagement.
• Coaches business leaders to ensure employees meet goals and celebrate achievements.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies.
• Collaborates with total rewards, legal, finance and other teams to drive improvements.
• Leads administrative professionals to meet site HR objectives accurately and timely.

Overview

Responsible for working closely with employees, managers and other departments to support engagement, development, retention, recruitment, compliance and compensation.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provides day to day support to managers on employee development and growth, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Executes TDW HR programs to serve the business with excellence. Programs may include merit, talent review, onboarding, employee engagement and wellbeing.
• Partner with and coach business leaders to ensure employees are meeting company goals and objectives and that accomplishments are celebrated.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Collaborates with total rewards, legal, finance, and other teams frequently to drive continuous improvement and solve problems.
• Provides leadership to administrative professionals meeting site and HR function objectives in a timely and accurate manner.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in business related area of study, human resources preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of HR field experience including employee or labor relations.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or services environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of US labor laws and employment practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across various functions, cultures and teams to positively influence leaders and employees.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Spanish and/or ASL is a plus.
