Responsibilities

Provides support to TD Partners by answering questions on various HR‑related topics and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Works closely with management and Partners to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.

Manages a range of Human Resources programs and procedures, including overseeing the termination process, handling related paperwork such as unemployment claims, and representing the company in all matters related to unemployment claims.

Facilitates comprehensive new employee orientation sessions and conducts thorough exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.

Provides day‑to‑day performance management guidance to include coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective action.

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day‑to‑day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Utilizes succession planning programs and integrates search activities to align with the succession plans and talent/competency gaps.

Analyzes trends and metrics with the HRBP Team to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures consistent with the Partner Manual.

Supports organizational training and development efforts and makes recommendations based upon performance and development plans.

Ensures the maintenance and communication of records and compliance activities as required by law or local governing bodies.

Qualifications
  • A High School diploma or GED is required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM‑SCP certification is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist or in a related field.
