Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a manufacturing organization with domestic and international operations. You will drive talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, payroll collaboration, and compliance programs to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • At least eight years of HR management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR practices.
  • SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with private equity backed organizations preferred.
  • Experience working with a professional employer organization is a plus.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and union represented workforces preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and implement employee handbooks, HR policies, and procedures.
  • Support the organization’s strategic business objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, hiring, and employment agreement negotiations.
  • Develop and deliver HR initiatives that improve employee performance and engagement.
  • Administer payroll, retirement, and employee benefit programs in partnership with external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment and benefits laws, including ERISA and EEO requirements.
  • Develop and manage an annual performance management process that aligns employee goals and compensation with organizational objectives.
  • Administer incentive compensation plans and oversee calculations and processing.
  • Maintain organizational charts and employee directories.
  • Develop and manage training programs that support employee development.
  • Recommend policies, procedures, and practices that improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain HR information system records and prepare HR and payroll reports.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective talent sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Work with organizational leaders to identify, develop, and monitor high potential employees.
  • Lead the HR strategy, budgeting, hiring, and communications associated with major operational or facility transitions.
  • Interpret and administer applicable collective bargaining agreements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

A manufacturing company with domestic and international operations is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support its workforce and strategic planning efforts.

This individual will work closely with internal teams and external HR service providers to ensure talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and incentive compensation programs are effectively implemented. The Human Resources Manager will partner with organizational leaders to strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and operational performance.

  • Manufacturing industry experience.
