Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an HR Manager for an established and innovative manufacturing organization. This onsite opportunity is in Brisbane, California, where you will lead the human resources function and partner with management to drive culture, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives.

The role focuses on employee relations, investigations, safety compliance, talent initiatives, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations within a regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR within a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, life sciences, or other highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law, employee relations, workplace investigations, and HR compliance.
• Experience partnering closely with operational leaders in an onsite HR role supporting a production or operations environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, workplace safety practices, and compliance within a regulated organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite HR leader, partnering with managers and employees to support organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, coaching, policy interpretation, and compliance with California employment laws.
• Partner with operational leadership to support workplace safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices.
• Oversee talent acquisition support, onboarding, workforce planning, employee development, retention, and engagement initiatives.
• Evaluate and enhance HR policies, programs, and processes to improve operational effectiveness and ensure compliance.
• Build trusted relationships across the organization while serving as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees.

The HR Manager will serve as the primary HR partner for employees and leadership, providing strategic and hands-on support across employee relations, compliance, talent initiatives, and day-to-day HR operations.
