Job summary

BNSF Railway in Fort Worth, TX invites ambitious students to join its 2027 Human Resources Management Trainee program. You will be immersed in recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance, learning from seasoned HR professionals in a fast-paced railway environment.

The program blends hands-on projects, leadership development, and a structured orientation. Relocation is required if beyond 50 miles; travel up to 25% is expected; one remote day per week is possible.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States and will be at least eighteen (18) years old upon hire.
• Does not require sponsorship now or in the future to obtain employment authorization.
• Pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or similar.
• Have a 2.75 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Less than three years of professional work experience (excluding internships/part-time roles).

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and vendors to process candidates through pre-employment.
• Spearhead projects focused on project management or process improvement.
• Leverage current recruiting strategies to build a pipeline for hiring needs.
• Administer talent acquisition programs such as referrals and sign-on bonuses.
