Job summary

BNSF Railway is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Management Trainee for Fort Worth, TX, with potential for remote one day per week. The program focuses on strategic sourcing, contracts, and supplier management, preparing you for leadership roles in logistics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics or a similar program.
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75.
• Less than three years of professional work experience (excluding internships).

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal customers and suppliers on specs, pricing, availability and delivery.
• Perform corrective action on issues related to supplier POs or contract non-compliance.
• Support service and material buyers with ad hoc reporting and project work.
• Maintain contract management and timely agreements.
• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, clear communication and resilience.
• Daily work occurs in an indoor office environment.
