The main purpose of this full‑time position will be to provide support to the Maryland Board of Nursing and all Human Resources and Professional Development for the Board, which includes 14 Board Members, Executive Director, Deputy Director, 5 Directors, and 84 permanent, contractual, and temporary employees.
This position will serve as the Human Resources Liaison between MBON and MDH (including onboarding and offboarding) and Professional Development Coordinator.
This position will also advise, interpret, and apply the Merit System policies and procedures for recruitment, testing, reclassifications, policy and vacancy management concerns, employee relations, temporary employment, and acting capacity for the Maryland Board of Nursing employees.
In addition, this position is a full performance level of professional work performing at the fully proficient level with significant independent decision‑making ability.
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high‑school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Two years of administrative staff or professional work.
