Groundworks, North America’s leading foundation repair and water management specialist, is seeking a Human Resources Leave Specialist to support a fast-paced, multi-site organization. This role partners with HR and operations to administer the employee leave process, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates sound judgment. Sits onsite in either Virginia Beach, VA or Irving, TX with up to 10% travel and occasional

Qualifications

3+ years HR experience in a specialist capacity or 1+ year with a Bachelor’s.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Proficiency in Workday HRIS and reporting.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Administer employee leave processes across multiple states.
Prepare HR reports and provide insights to drive objectives.
Maintain compliance with ADA, leave laws, and audits.
Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Legal.
Create and update SOPs to improve HR processes.
