Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Human Resources Leave Specialist to support a fast-paced, multi-site organization across multiple states. This onsite role focuses on comprehensive leave administration, ADA compliance, and reporting in Workday.

You will partner with HR, payroll, benefits, and legal to ensure compliant processes, accurate timecard validation, and timely communications. The role offers growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience, or 1+ year with a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Workday HRIS, including transaction processing and reporting.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of HR Operations Center of Excellence to deliver HR services.
• Administer leave processes and return-to-work accommodations.
• Ensure ADA compliance and review requests with managers and HR business partners.
• Prepare reports and provide insights to drive business objectives and compliance.
