Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Human Resources Lead to support store-level HR operations and create a positive associate experience. This role partners with store leadership to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, training, benefits administration, performance management, and associate engagement.

The HR Lead serves as a resource for associates and leaders while helping build a workplace culture centered around People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in human resources, recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, or associate engagement.
• Knowledge of HR policies and workplace compliance.
• Experience using HRIS, ATS, or other computer-based systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: Review applications, conduct phone screenings, assist with candidate selection.
• Coordinate interviews and support a positive candidate experience.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, and required documentation.
• Support benefits administration, leave management, and HR reporting.
• Partner with Store Managers and HR Business Partners on employee relations, coaching, and development.
• Coordinate training programs including onboarding, safety, workplace policies, and role-specific development.
• Support store safety initiatives, accident reporting, safety audits, and compliance efforts.
