Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Houston, TX, is seeking dynamic Accounting Interns for the 2027 summer. This twelve-week paid internship supports accounting systems, financial reporting, fixed assets, and shared services within our Accounting Department.

Applicants must be enrolled in Accounting or Finance programs with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028, and possess strong Excel and communication skills, a solid GPA, and a self-motivated, team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Preferably junior status as of Fall 2027.
• General requirements include self-motivated individuals.
• Above average GPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties such as account reconciliations and preparation of monthly statements.
• Work cross-functionally with related departments during monthly close processes.
• Support real projects in areas like Crude Oil, Natural Gas, NGL & Midstream.
• Assist with Regulatory Reporting & Compliance.
• Analyze Profit & Loss to support business decisions.
