Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP invites applications for its 2027 Summer Human Resources Internship at the Irving, TX corporate offices. This 10-week on-site program offers hands-on exposure to HR operations, onboarding, recruiting, and employee communications within a hospitality-focused corporate environment.

You will work alongside experienced HR professionals, develop skills in recruitment branding, employee relations, and HR systems, and contribute to Highgate's culture across internal and external

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum Junior status.
• Strong interest in Human Resources, recruiting, and employer branding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Outlook and Teams is a plus.
• Ability to commit to a 10-week onsite internship in Irving, TX.
• Must reside in the Dallas, TX area during the internship and work onsite in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks within the HR department.
• Create new hire files and assist with auditing employee records.
• Support corporate office event planning and execution.
• Assist with monitoring and responding to the HH HR Inbox related to HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare new hire welcome materials, including gift bags and cubicle/office setup.
• Input and maintain updates in the department's internal HR systems and databases.
• Assist with recruitment efforts by using social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, to share open positions and internship opportunities.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure social media content reflects the company's values, culture, and employer brand.
