Highgate Hotels, LP is offering an Intern - Human Resources (Summer 2027) opportunity at our New Jersey Growth property. The role provides hands-on HR exposure in a dynamic hospitality environment, working closely with experienced professionals to support daily operations and staffing projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong interest in hotel operations, hospitality leadership, guest service, and career growth.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team with day‑to‑day Human Resources operations and administrative tasks.
• Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding activities.
• Help maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
• Partner with hotel leadership and HR teams to support employee needs and initiatives.
• Gain exposure to key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
• Demonstrate a warm, professional, and service‑focused attitude with guests, associates, and leadership.
• Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, safety procedures, confidentiality expectations, and grooming standards.
• Learn and contribute in a fast‑paced hospitality environment while developing valuable professional skills.
