Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of May 2027 or later.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear, meaningful way.
• Demonstrated leadership through coursework, campus organizations, work experience, or volunteer activities.
• Ability to work onsite in Lexington, Kentucky throughout the internship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate HR file conversion and improve document organization, accessibility, and compliance.
• Participate in HR pilot programs and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support Talent Acquisition activities, including candidate engagement, interview coordination, and recruiting event prep.
• Analyze and manage HR data to identify trends and support reporting needs.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and HR programs at the site.
• Collaborate with HR team on special projects aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
