Job summary

Revamp Engineering, Inc. offers a Human Resources Intern role designed to provide structured, hands-on exposure to the employee lifecycle.

You will work under HR staff supervision, support compliance, payroll, benefits, and records, and complete projects through mentorship and training. The program emphasizes learning, with an HR mentor, regular check-ins, and opportunities to represent Revamp's values—Impact, Collaboration, Trust, Equity—across stakeholder interactions.

Qualifications

60+ credits toward a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
Working knowledge of federal employment law and HR compliance fundamentals.
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll platforms is a plus, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is required.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
High discretion, integrity, and sound judgment handling confidential information.
Ability to manage time, prioritize, and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Available to work four hours per day, Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM PT.
Ability to commute into the Oakland office as needed.

Responsibilities

Support compliance, payroll, and benefits administration under HR staff supervision.
Maintain employee records and assist with reporting (EEO, ACA, etc.).
Track timesheets, assist with payroll accuracy and state registrations.
Assist in licensing management and handling confidential documents.
Provide general HR and administrative support and respond to routine employee questions.
