Job summary

You will work with the HR team across departments, support onboarding processes, and help enhance HRIS usage while developing practical business and communication skills in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying business, marketing, HR, or related field.
• Internship offers exposure to HR areas like employee relations, talent acquisition, and compensation/benefits.
• Opportunity to own a real-world HR project during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to HR responsibilities at our Garner, IA headquarters and satellite locations in Northern Iowa.
• Partner with HR team to analyze, review, and propose changes to interns and internship programs.
• Support HRIS system utilization and efficiency improvements.
• Assist with onboarding functions: sending new hire documents, creating onboarding folders, requesting access, scheduling orientation.
• Assist HR generalists with leader and employee support as issues arise.
• Assist with document updates, project coordination and implementation.
