Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an HR intern to support day-to-day HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and HR Total Value teams to help manage processes and metrics in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers hands-on experience in a large organization with exposure to core HR programs, performance management, and talent development, while building foundational HR skills and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in a related field such as Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative processes.
• Support recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Participate in associate engagement, learning, and HR initiatives.
• Assist with research on HR best practices, policies, and industry trends.
• Help prepare presentations, communications, and reports for HR programs.
• Support HR projects related to performance management, business operations, or talent development.
• Participate in HR team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Compile HR metrics and summarize insights for the HR team.
• Engage professionally with associates and stakeholders to support a positive associate experience.
