Job summary

iA is seeking a People Team (HR) Intern for a 10-week summer program in New York. You will partner with HRBP to support day-to-day people operations across Manufacturing, R&D, and Product teams, assist with engagement efforts, and help refine HR SOPs while gaining hands-on exposure to HR strategy in a fast-paced environment.

You will interface with employees on the manufacturing floor and contribute to policy understanding, program initiatives, and process improvements during the program

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student majoring in Human Resources, IO psychology, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to handle sensitive information.
• Comfortable working on a manufacturing floor and interfacing with employees.
• Interest in HR policies, programs, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HRBP to support day-to-day people operations across multiple teams.
• Assist with employee engagement efforts.
• Maintain understanding of HR policies, programs, plans and initiatives.
• Help establish and refine SOPs and HR processes with leadership.
• Collaborate with People Team to brainstorm and pilot new programs.
• Surface trends and provide recommendations to improve processes.
• Provide light administrative support as needed.
